House Resolution 2749
|
The
much talked about Food Safety Bill, HR2749, has recently
passed through the House of Representatives with a 283 - 142
vote. The Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009 was drafted to
improve the FDA's authority to monitor food suppliers and
processors for unsafe practices. What the bill really
implies is control of the food supply and even harsher
requirements for small organic farmers.
The
FDA has now been granted their food police badge, with the
potential to now control every aspect of what we consume;
and let's not forget the leverage that Big Agri and biotech
companies like Monsanto have gained within the FDA. It has
often been said that he who controls the food supply
controls the people.

Cytokine activating an immune system response
|
The
H1N1 vaccine in production is going to be administered in a
series of three injections. The first injection, as
reported by researcher Patrick Jordan and meta-analyst Dr.
Rebecca Carley, will be given to turn off the patient's
immune system. The second injection will be to load the
patient with the deadly organisms of the virus being fought.
The third injection is believed to turn the immune system
back on, creating a cytokine storm that could potentially
deliver a deadly blow to the body of the patient.
A
similar occurrence happened in 1918 among soldiers deployed
to Europe. In 1915 they had been given the pertussis
vaccine. The bacterium from pertussis coxon, known as
whooping cough, depresses the immune system and reduces
white blood cell counts. Upon arrival in Europe in 1918, the
soldiers were given another unknown vaccination, and
thirdly, they were exposed to Lucite gas (an arsenic
compound) and phosgenegas (a chlorine compound). Their
immune systems kicked in to overcompensate for the onslaught
of foreign bodies. When this happened, the cytokine storm
from the heightened immune systems ended up killing many
otherwise healthy young soldiers. This outcome is the
potential result of the three-stage vaccination program
being proposed now, warns Jordan.
He
also advises that even if the cytokine storm scenario does
not pan out, there are still enough dangerous materials
within the swine flu vaccine, such as squalene, material
poison, salmonella, or typhoid fever toxin, to cause serious
adverse health effects in patients.

No Monsanto
|
Genetically
modified organisms (GMOs) have worked their way into the
majority of our world's food supply, despite the
incriminating evidence stacking up against them. An alarming
amount of studies have linked GM foods to the escalating
adverse health effects in both humans and animals. It has
gotten to the point where concerned physicians are actually
advising their patients and the general public to avoid
consuming GM foods altogether. The American Academy of
Environmental Medicine (AAEM) is even advising physicians to
inform their patients on the dangers of GMO consumption:
infertility, immune problems, accelerated aging, insulin
regulation, and changes to major organs and the GI system.
Medical
professionals are extremely confident that these problems
are caused by GM foods, and their reasoning lies in the way
GMOs are produced. It is unlike the age-old use of spray-on
pesticides that can simply be washed off. These poisons are
genetically engineered to grow within the plant. Each plant
produces its own pesticide (Bt), which is far more
concentrated than the spray, and it is ingrained within each
cell of the plant. When we eat GM foods, the pesticides then
transfer into our bodies, and potentially cause a long list
of health problems.

A Filling Containing Mercury
|
The
FDA has recently issued its updated final regulation on
dental amalgam and its components - elemental mercury and a
powder alloy - used in dental fillings. According to the FDA
the levels of mercury released by dental amalgam fillings
are not high enough to cause harm in patients, despite the
known health effects of high level exposure to elemental
mercury.
The
new regulation has moved the dental amalgam from a Class I
(low risk) to a Class II (moderate risk) classification.
This means that the FDA can impose special controls as a way
to ensure the safety and efficacy of the product. They have
released a guidance document on dental amalgam regarding the
special controls. The guidelines include: a warning against
the use of dental amalgam in patients with mercury
allergies, a warning that dental professionals use adequate
ventilation when handling dental amalgam, and a statement
discussing the scientific evidence on the benefits and risks
of dental amalgam, as well as the risks of mercury vapor
inhalation.
The
ruling has been six years in the making. The FDA has held
many meetings and had many studies done, as well as reviewed
around 200 scientific studies and relevant peer-reviewed
literature, and they have reached their ruling of
reclassification of elemental mercury in dental amalgam to
Class II.
As
is typical for the FDA, the reclassification of something
potentially deadly to the common consumer comes after it is
no longer widely in use.
