EXCITED VIRTUALITIES
The FULL MOON on January 25 sends a strong signal that the paradigm
shift is taking form. A feeling of divine discontent pervades and urges us
forward. The opposition of Saturn in Cancer and Chiron in Capricorn that has
been pushing the wheel of manifest destiny has been especially highlighted
this past month, with an obvious, literal deluge of world-shaking change.
Venus, Mercury and the Black Moon emphatically emphasize the continuation,
as they join the opposition. The Goddess is surging with light from solar
flares. May the beacons on the Statues of Liberty— in both NY and Paris--
shine on strong,
This Full Moon in Aquarius (Sun) and Leo (Moon) glows with clues about the
imminent agenda we are heading into as Chiron moves in Aquarius (February
21) and Saturn crosses the line into Leo (July).
The dancing Moon at 6 degrees Leo plays like a classic movie:

Highly individualistic Aquarians are never identified in a standard model.
Soon, Chiron, the cosmic oddball, will move into Aquarius, adding an
additional ripple of eccentricity.
CHIRON, AN ODD ROCK
discovered by astronomers in 1977, didn’t fit into any existing category.
It’s not a planet, asteroid, or comet. In Greek mythology, Chiron was a
centaur, half-horse, half-man, known as the Wounded Healer. Master of all
arts and sciences, he was mentor to many of the Greek heroes. But he could
not heal himself when wounded by an arrow. He jumped into the sky over the
Southern Cross, where we see him today as the constellation of The Centaur,
visible in our Caribbean latitudes. And he gave his name to this odd rock.
With an extremely elliptical orbit of 50 years, Chiron comes closer to us
than Saturn, then it spins way out to the orbit of Uranus. Chiron thus
bridges the gap between classical and modern, visible and telescopic
planets. Chiron represents experience outside the box, a kind of practical
magic that can change reality by looking at it from a different perspective.
Personally, it indicates our quest for healing and wholeness through which
we discover something unique about ourselves and what we have to offer.
CHIRON MOVES INTO AQUARIUS
next month. What does it mean? Some guesses: communities and groups of
people joining together for our common welfare; insights and revolutions,
new energy technologies and a continuing acceleration of our planet’s
frequency. It’s getting more exciting. Virtual reality becomes real.
SUBATOMIC PHYSICS
tells us that atoms are composed of protons, neutrons and electrons. These
three types of particles emit energy called
photons, teensy flashes
of light which affect the electromagnetic force. Photons flash out and back
in so quickly that the slower speed of time and space cannot compute their
energy. These “virtual” photons because they aren’t logged in as “real.”
Photons outwit the law of conservation that says, “You can’t get something
for nothing.” We actually can, but only for about one thousand trillionth of
a second. With a cosmic sleight of hand, like a magician’s act, photons of
light can become real, but you have to be really quick. Chiron can do that
kind of magic, altering time because it catches more photons. Are you
experiencing how strange time is lately? Catch a dancing photon and
put it in your pocket—but DON’T save it for a rainy day. It won’t last
that long!

EXCITED ELECTRONS
are at a heightened energy level, higher than the normal, low energy or
“ground state” they maintain when closest to their nuclear home base.
Generally an electron doesn’t like to leave home. In fact, the only time it
leaves ground state is when it is pushed out by some extra energy. Some
times it is pushed so far it can’t get home; then it becomes a free
electron. Otherwise it must lose its excess energy before it can return
home, so it shoots out a photon.
Does any of this sound like your life? Have you become a free electron, or
are you trying to return home? Basically, with Chiron going into Aquarius,
we can’t really go back to ground state, not after 9/11, not after the
tsunami. The solar system is too excited these days. Might as well see if
you can grab a photon and pull into reality. They are flitting all around
like fireflies in the summer. This is basically what Chiron is Aquarius is
about.
HUGE SOLAR FLARES
flying out from the Sun at immense speeds have been penetrating our magnetic
field, changing the electric charge, creating shimmering auroras and extreme
weather. And exciting the electrons so far from ground state that they fly
off into increasing possibilities. The energy may come back to its ground
state temporarily, and so might we, then it and we become further excited
and start sending out real photons that take off, de-stabilizing the
existing structure. If an atom loses an electron, it becomes a different
form of matter, a new level of consciousness. The virtual, “wanna-be”
photon, finds that it has enough energy to become real-- like Pinocchio when
he became a Real Boy.
EXCHANGING PHOTONS
Electrons always have an aura-like swarm of virtual photons around them.
Individually we are each like an excited photon, a kaleidoscopes of shifting
virtual realities. When electrons come close enough to each other, their
virtual-photon fields overlap and they exchange photons, shifting each
other’s realities. Can you apply this to your social life?
We are all exchanging light all the time, exciting each other in various
ways. As we absorb light from each other, we change ourselves and each
other. Shared photons, shared light, shared imagination, shared visions,
shared dreams. We come together to re-weave reality by bringing virtual
reality into form.
Chiron entering Aquarius positions us on a potent threshold with virtual
photons popping all around us, like Alice in Wonderland heading down the
rabbit hole:
Dear, dear! How queer everything is today! And yesterday things
went on just as usual. I wonder if I've been changed in the night?
Let me think: was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost t
think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the
same, the next question is, Who in the world am I? Ah, that's the
great puzzle!

Matters Mundane
The Galactic Times for January 13, 2005

Today, as it does about this time every year, the Earth connects with
the North Node of Saturn. Officially, January 13th should mark the
ditching of the post-holiday whatever it is that happens to people
syndrome. The contact of our home base to that of Saturn's well-defined
purpose motivation point, says simply, "It's time to get on with it now.
Make a plan. Get on with it... Now." This year the effect stands
dramatically compounded by Saturn standing in the same place as well.
The two densest planets in terms of worldly affairs, join hands in some
sort of partnership agreeing to create solidifying events.
On the heels of the major earthquake(s) in Indonesia, the change of the
position of the North Pole (by about an inch) and an effect that makes
the Earth rounder, we're still reeling. Flooding and landslides make the
entire nature of Earth seem more delicate than we've ever perceived it
to be before. The USS San Francisco, one of the esteemed boats in the
U.S. Navy's nuclear submarine fleet, slammed into the ocean floor on its
way to Australia. Amazingly, no one yet has mentioned the possibility
that the ocean's surface beneath the waves might also be radically
altered. It's totally plausible. Why not? Cartographers now busily
adjust Earth's coastlines in quake/flood impacted areas.
The situation is global, whether one follows it or not. The Sandwich
Island group in the Southern Atlantic Ocean has recently experienced a
swarm of quakes. Yesterday, a magnitude 6.8 quake rocked the Atlantic.
It was surprising that no warning, no concern, or news appeared about
that quake.
So, what's it mean? It means: stabilize the Earth. How? The trembling
effect of Earthquakes can substitute gelatin for one's normally solid
kneecaps leaving no leg to stand upon. The trembling and fear modality
appears. Many religions would prefer that God scare the beedookies out
of you so that you'll comply with a prescribed behavioral-moral code.
They cite the "wrath of God" as the reason. Well, let's back up the word
truck here. Wrath can also mean strength, and with an implied twist.
This present pattern requires willful use of the strength of the time -
as in, one's resolve, plan and committed attention to that plan. If not,
the twisting pressures apply. Yep, when one resists the flow, the
exerted pressure feels like rip tides from the Heavens churn a body's
insides into a chaldron of chaos.
Here's the twist, Oliver: for a dickens of a good time use the strength
of the potently solid Saturn to manifest the demands of the Earth plane.
Start delayed tasks. Clear the decks of debris. Now, sooner than later,
get the new year off to a good start. If you've not been burning your
own personal midnight oil (or the oil that suits your personal
diurnal/nocturnal schedule, as to avoid quibbling over bits of words),
the Earth and Saturn strongly suggest you get on with such burning
efforts. Find the strength. Perhaps then, the twists of pressure
diminish and the new version of the Earth, rounder, and directionally
refocused feels like a more secure environment in which to flourish.
One other thing: yesterday NASA launched a vehicle to plunge into the
head of the Comet Tempel 1. The Deep Impact probe now moves toward a
scheduled collision to slam the comet on July 4th. Jeez, what did this
Comet ever do to us? All this to see if life originated in a potentially
cometary origin. Perhaps it's not yet been figured that whacking this
comet on the head just might shoot Creationism in the foot. Oh my! More
to come, for sure.
